1. When does the Seller get paid?

2. What happens to the Buyer's purchase money when received by Mexico Timeshare Transfer Co.?
The Buyer sends the purchase price to us in the form of a Cashier's Check or Certified Check made payable to Mexico Timeshare Transfer Escrow Account. These funds are deposited into the escrow account under the name of the Buyer. Funds are held in this secure, non interest bearing account until the transfer is complete.

6. How long will it take to complete my timeshare transfer?
After we have confirmed the information given to us by both the buyer & seller, and have verified all necessary information with the resort, the documents should be mailed to both parties within 5-7 business days.

From the time we receive signed and Notarized documents from the buyer & seller, and cleared funds from the buyer, the transfer package should be at the resort or management company within 7 - 10 business days.

Depending on the resort, the transfer should be complete within 2 weeks from the time the documents are received. At that time the buyer will be notified by Mexico Timeshare Transfer that they can make reservations and use their timeshare. Some resorts prepare the new Certificate of Ownership immediately and some have them prepared and sent from another location.

In most cases, and there is no guarantee, the transfer process will take thirty to sixty days, but can take up to ninety days. We will keep you informed as to our progress along the way.
